Oreo Mint DessertCuisine: Category: Desert Servings: Ingredients:1 cup sugar1/2 cup water dash of salt 2 beaten egg whites 3 drops of mint 1/2 tsp green food coloring 1 tsp vanilla 2 cups cool whip crushed oreo cookies Instructions:boil the sugar and water until it starts to string test stringing with a metal spoon (take a spoon full and lift up and slowly pour back into the kettle, if it strings real nice it is done) this will take about 7 minutes then add this to the 2 stiffly beaten egg whites when the mixture starts to set add the mint and foor coloring mix in the vanilla and beat until think cool fold in the cool whip in a cake pan put about a half inch of crushed oreo cookies add the green mixture and top with the rest of the crushed oreos keep in freezer till ready to serveClick Here To Return To The Recipe List This Page Generated By: |
