beets
1 cup vinegar
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 tbls salt
1/4 cup pickling spice
cheese cloth
jars
lids


Instructions:

boil beets till done cut off the stem and peel off skin plice the beets like you want them canned either in whole pieces, chunks, or slices heat you vinegar, sugar,water,salt mixture with pickling season wrapped tightly in cheese cloth you want the flavor to get through but not the pickling spice pieces bring to a boil then pour the mixture into you already steralized jars packed with beets till jar is full - 1 " from the top of jar put a steralized lid on jar and seal
